Shortlisted for the Best young dentist award and the subtle features of INVISALIGN

Shortlist – dental awards

Every year, the FMC shortlist dentists under the age of 35 for the Best Young Dentist Award. This is to acknowledge excellent standards and achievements in the dental profession. It is a great honor for me to be shortlisted for this award. My team have been paramount to this achievement, I am blessed to have such a skilled group of professionals working alongside me.

Our team take great pride in the care we provide to our patients as we continue to strive for excellence. I would like to thank the FMC for acknowledging our achievements at our dental practice.

Invisalign clear aligners

Teeth can be healthy and clean but yet not look aesthetic. This is usually due to the bad positioning of the teeth. Orthodontic treatment is the process in which teeth are moved to their favorable cosmetic position. This has been traditionally done using metal brackets and wires. However, with modern advancements in dentistry, clear aligners is an incredibly comfortable way to achieve these desired tooth movements.

invisalign

The clear aligners are almost invisible and allow the patient to wear them without it affecting there appearance during the treatment phase. This is an important feature since orthodontic treatment can take 12 months on average to complete.  Wearing metal brackets and wires for this length of time can cause a significant issue with self confidence and the patient’s image.

The aligners are all manufactured at the start of the treatment and they are replaced every 2 weeks. You can remove the aligners during eating and cleaning, this is very easy to do.
