We are still here for you, we always have been

6 weeks have now passed since the government introduced strict social distancing rules in the fight against Covid-19. Every dental practice in the UK has been asked to effectively close their doors and manage patients remotely where possible. This means that we are managing all of our patients without any physical interaction.

The work that the NHS professionals are doing is unbelievable. Many of our patients also work for the NHS and we would like to thank you for your continued efforts in our nations response. Our team are on a shortlist of professionals who will be asked to help with the Covid-19 crisis if we are required to provide additional support in either the dental field or in the wider medical field. We will be honoured to help in any way possible.

The current trend in Covid-19 cases shows that we may be moving past the peak and their is a sense of optimisim that we may be getting closer to a point where some of these restrictions can be lifted. This includes the restrictions on dental care. In the meantime, we are continuing to provide remote dental care and advice to every patient, including those patients who aren’t currently a registered patient at our clinic. We are proud to have helped hundreds of patients over the last 6 weeks using either video consultations or phone consultations with our committed dental team. Therefore, I want to reassure everyone that our clinic is still open, it always has been and we are committed to providing every patient with the care they need. https://infinitydentalclinic.co.uk/contact-us/

In dentistry, we had a very high level of protection already instilled in our work before Covid-19. We always wear masks and gloves and protection for our patients and team is always at the forefront of everything we do. Our decontamination and sterilisation protocol has minimised the risk of spreading infections and diseases signficiantly in the dental field. Despite this, the current situation with Covid-19 requires the highest level of protection that is possible. To help us provide this we have invested in additonal PPE, including FFP3 masks, to further maximise the protection to our patients and team. Our clinic has spacious waiting rooms and surgeries, including 3 individual private waiting rooms, to alow us to practice social distancing for our patients when necessary.

We are prepared to provide dentistry in the safest way possible as soon as we are given the green light from the NHS and central government. Although we don’t know when this will be, our team are prepared to provide high quality dental care in a safe environment for patients as soon as we are able to.

We look forward to seeing you at our clinic!
