Sometimes there’s a moment that makes you decide it’s finally time to do something for yourself.
For this patient, that moment came when his sister asked him a simple question. With his first grandson due in December, did he think it was time to finally sort his teeth out?
His problems had actually started many years earlier. At just eight years old, he knocked out his front teeth, and over the years things had gradually deteriorated. By the time he came to see us, he was missing six or seven teeth and had extensive decay elsewhere. In his own words, he felt his mouth was “a disaster”.

After some health issues over the years, he was ready to get things sorted properly.
He had seen us in Yorkshire Life and was happy to travel to Leeds for treatment. From the beginning, one thing that really stood out was how involved he wanted to be in creating his new smile. He didn’t want a generic set of teeth. He wanted something made specifically for him, to suit his face, his mouth and how he wanted to look.
That’s one of the parts of treatment he enjoyed most.
Being in the unique position of having our own state-of-the-art dental laboratory upstairs, he was able to see where his new teeth were actually being made and be part of the process. There’s something quite special about seeing the work that goes into creating your own smile, rather than it all happening somewhere behind the scenes.
Following his full arch implant treatment, he now has a fixed upper FP3 implant bridge, designed and made specifically for him.

The difference is huge.
He looks like a new man, but importantly, he still looks like himself. His new teeth suit his face and feel personal to him, which was exactly what he wanted when he first walked through our doors.
After living with his teeth for so many years, seeing his reaction to the finished result was brilliant. He was absolutely thrilled.
And with his first grandson on the way, the timing couldn’t have been better. A new smile ready for plenty of new family photos.
