A personalised dental care service…’Small’ vs ‘Big’

In the world of corporates and nationwide companies it is tempting to think that bigger is better. It many cases this is true however, in the world of advanced dentistry I feel this may not always be the case.

At Infinity Dental Clinic we have continued to grow over the last few years. Our growth has been based on a promise to continually invest in our practice and team so that we can carry on providing the highest level of dental care for all of our patients. A different approach may have been to invest in expanding in the way a corporate may do. Should we set up another practice in another location and continue to expand in that way? Wouldn’t that make our dental service bigger?

It is worth noting: A small business is not a big business that hasn’t grown up yet. It’s different. A small business has an owner, someone who can make decisions without meetings, who can listen to customers or patients and who can embrace the work at hand.

I am fully invested into our clinic and what we provide for our patients. I feel that growing like a ‘corporate’ would have a negative effect on the thing we value the most – our individual service to all of our patients and our team. Dental care isn’t like a big supermarket or an international retail chain, it is a healthcare service that requires a high level of bespoke care for each and every patient. I am proud of what our team achieve daily to help so many patients overcome their lifelong dental problems and I would not sacrifice that level of care for anything. We will continue to invest heavily in ensuring we are always able to be at the forefront of dentistry and provide our patients with the high level of care that they deserve.
