A Shared Smile Journey: How This Couple Transformed Their Dental Health

At Infinity Dental Clinic, we’re proud to witness life-changing transformations every week. But every so often, a patient journey stands out—not just because of the treatment outcome, but because of the commitment and trust placed in our team. One such story belongs to a wonderful couple who travel all the way from near Staithes to see us, and who now leave our clinic beaming with beautiful, confident smiles.

Let’s start with her story.

When she first came to us, she was worried. She had no regular dentist, and years of moving between countries and cities had made it difficult to stay on top of her oral health. A former engineer who had been stationed in Singapore for years, she returned to England and found herself without a clear plan for her dental care.

Her concerns were valid—and we reassured her that not only could we help, but that many of the issues she was facing are more common than most people realise:

• She noticed blood on her pillow each morning, a worrying sign of gum disease.
• She thought her gums were receding, and some of her lower teeth felt fragile—she even described them as “rotten.”
• With missing teeth, an old implant from a past accident, and dissatisfaction with her current bridge, she was desperate for a plan.

After a comprehensive assessment and CBCT scan, we diagnosed generalised gum disease, with poor prognosis for several molars and her lower front teeth. Together, we crafted a plan using dental implants, fully focused on long-term health and aesthetics.

She underwent “same day teeth” treatment—dental implants placed and restored in a single visit under sedation. This approach meant she walked out with a full set of fixed teeth on the very same day, avoiding the long delays and discomfort of traditional implant timelines. Sedation ensured the procedure was completely stress-free, even for someone anxious about dentistry.

The benefits? Immediate results, fewer appointments, and no need to live with gaps or temporary dentures. It’s efficient, comfortable, and life-changing—exactly what she needed.

She committed fully to her treatment journey. She even routinely travelled by train to attend appointments—no easy feat. But the results made every mile worth it. With a combination of implant placements, aesthetic improvements, and periodontal support, she now has a strong, stunning smile that will last her for years to come.
