All in a day’s work – Full arch dental implants

On Monday we had just completed another Same Day dental implant treatment for one of our patients. It was breathtaking to see such a huge transformation within 4 hours. After such an incredible day, I felt it was best to write about the most life changing of dental treatments that we provide to so many patients.

At Infinity Dental Clinic, we‘ve had the pleasure of treating many patients with advanced implant dentistry. Whether they need to replace one tooth, multiple teeth, or an entire set, this permanent fixed approach has the potential to be life changing for them. We assess each patient‘s specific needs and give them options. This could be an implant–retained denture, implant–supported bridge, or the same day smiles approach which replaces all missing teeth with fixed implant–supported teeth in a single appointment. This gives patients the confidence to walk away with a fixed smile and improved self–esteem right away, without having to wear a removable denture for the six months it usually takes to complete their treatment.

THE SAME DAY SMILE APPROACH

The pictures below show what the fixed temporary teeth look like on the first day of the treatment with dental implants to replace the failing or missing teeth. In most cases the temporary teeth look almost as good as the final smile and in all of these pictures, the ‘before’ picture was taken at 9am in the morning and the ‘after’ picture was taken by afternoon on that very same day!

After 6 months of healing, our patients will receive their “temporary“ teeth replaced by a definitive and customised smile, supported by the same dental implants. No additional surgery is necessary as the implants have integrated with the bone. This smile is designed to perfectly fit each patient‘s facial profile while allowing the patient to fully restore their normal dental function. It will also be very close to the look of natural, healthy teeth with perfect gum contours.
