Another Wedding-Ready Smile, in Time For Her Son’s Big Day

We recently finished treatment for a lovely patient who came to us in a tricky situation. She had snapped her post crown, as can often happen, and had been given a denture to replace the tooth. The problem was, she just couldn’t get on with dentures.

She told us straight away that she didn’t like the denture. It felt awkward, and because she talks a lot at work, it made her feel self-conscious. Chewing was difficult, and she was also worried that her other crowns might snap too. Understandably, she didn’t want to end up in the same situation again.

She’d been looking into a few different clinics, including some much closer to home, but said our work stood out — and the reviews gave her confidence we were the right choice. Even though she has a regular dentist in Doncaster, she felt it was worth making the trip to come and see us.

One thing that stood out was how important the timing was. Her son’s wedding was coming up and she was hoping to have a smile sorted in time for the big day. No pressure!

We put a clear plan together and got to work.
Her treatment included:
• Replacing her upper 4 front incisor teeth with two implants supporting a four-unit bridge
• Crowns on her upper canines to match the new bridge
• Whitening to brighten her whole smile
• Airflow cleaning for a fresh, polished finish

Everything went really well with the treatment, and we were all thrilled to fit her new smile in time for the big day. At her review, she told us she’s had no problems at all. Everything feels comfortable, she can eat, speak, laugh and clean as normal again, and she’s genuinely happy with how it all turned out.

Best of all, she had a brilliant time at her son’s wedding. She smiled confidently in all the photos and said she felt like herself again.
