Many of our patients are becoming increasingly aware that they would like to improve the appearance of their smile – though aren’t sure what exactly is the best plan of action.
At our clinic, we don’t have a ‘one size fits all’ approach, which can often leave everyone with the same large, block white, false appearance. We complete an assessment on our patients to ensure we understand their concerns and the outcome they want to achieve.
Composite Bonding
Composite bonding is becoming an increasingly popular way to improve the appearance of our patient’s smile. The benefits are that it is a safe, minimally invasive way to improve the shape, colour, position and even alignment of teeth. We take photos and intraoral digital scans of each patient, to ensure each design suits the age, appearance and face shape of each individual.
Digital Design
To ensure our patients are in control of the results, we create a digital smile design, which means we fabricate a model of your teeth with the ideal smile. We can sit together and look at a model of the before and after, to check we are both happy with the proposed outcome, before we even start any treatment! We find this really helps our patients visualise the treatment, which is a really exciting stage of the process.
Treatment Process
Once we are both happy with the plan, the model can be used to transfer the smile design directly to your teeth, giving you your perfect smile. This minimally invasive procedure involves very little, or no tooth removal and can usually be completed in one visit. This means you will leave happy, with your new smile.
Review
We also always pride ourself on holistic, long term care. Therefore, once finished, you will be given a few weeks to try out your new smile, then return for a review. At this stage, we can check if there are any amendments required and carry out any additional polishing.
Combination Treatment
Each plan will be bespoke to each individual. Therefore, we provide many patients with multidisciplinary care. This may also involve treatments like Invisalign orthodontics, teeth whitening and dental implants. A consultation will allow us to advise on the right treatment for you depending on your desired results.
