This week, I’ve been reflecting on what makes a great dental practice, and for me, it all comes down to one thing – our team. At Infinity Dental Clinic, we’re more than just colleagues; we’re a family. Every single member of our team plays a crucial role in making sure our patients receive the best possible care.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the stability of our team. We have an incredibly low staff turnover, and many of our team members have been with us for years. This consistency means our patients see the same friendly faces every time they visit, building trust and a real sense of community. A perfect example of this is Estelle, our reception lead, who has been with us for an incredible 29 years! She knows every patient like an old friend, understands the ins and outs of the practice, and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment someone walks through the door.

Every Role Matters
A dental practice is like a well-oiled machine—every part has to work together to keep things running smoothly. Our dentists and dental therapists couldn’t do what they do without their dental nurses, who ensure that appointments run efficiently, instruments are ready, and patients feel comfortable and supported. Our nurses are constantly updating their skills with training to make sure they’re always at the top of their game.
Our reception team is just as essential. They’re the first and last people our patients see, helping to create a smooth and stress-free experience. From booking appointments to answering queries, they make sure everything runs seamlessly while offering a reassuring and friendly presence.
Then we have our treatment coordinators—the vital link between dentists, patients, and the diary. They’re there for your from the very first enquiry to completing your treatment, ensuring patients feel informed and supported every step of the way. With extensive training, they not only assist clinically and administratively but also provide much-needed emotional reassurance.
Investing in Our People
One of our core values at Infinity Dental Clinic is continuous growth. We believe in investing in our team, supporting them in their careers, and helping them reach their full potential. Recently training days have included covering everything from medical emergencies to clinical photography, ensuring our teams skills remain sharp and up to date.
We also take pride in offering career development opportunities. One of our dental nurses, for example, has been supported through a dental technician degree to allow her to eventually be a fully qualified member of our Dentogenics laboratory team. This kind of investment not only strengthens our practice but also means our patients benefit from highly skilled professionals at every stage of their treatment.
