Faced with the daunting task of replacing a missing tooth or teeth, patients often worry about how natural the new tooth will look in their mouth. Will it drastically alter their smile and appearance? Will it hinder their ability to eat and speak?
Dental implants provide the perfect foundation for replacing missing teeth, providing a stable and secure anchor for the supra–gingival crown. As I‘ve discussed in my earlier post, the contouring of the gums around the implant is a key factor in ensuring a natural–looking result. Our previous blogs have highlighted the meticulous planning and shaping of the gums to provide the most bespoke and realistic replacement teeth for our patients.
Our laboratory team have the ability to design a tooth that is as close to perfection as possible, replicating every aspect of a natural tooth. From the shade, shape and contours to the reflective properties, we can ensure that the replacement tooth looks, feels and functions as close to a real tooth as possible. Every stage of the implant treatment must be carefully planned and executed to achieve these natural outcomes, and although we can‘t provide a real tooth replacement, we strive to provide the next best thing!
