For many people, dental problems don’t appear overnight. They build up slowly over years. Old fillings, crowns and bridges that once did their job begin to fail. Repairs become more frequent. Each fix lasts a little less time than the one before.
This was exactly the situation for one of our recent patients at Infinity Dental Clinic.

He had a long history of dental work. Large fillings that had been replaced multiple times. Teeth that had fractured and been patched up again and again. Despite everyone’s best efforts over the years, things were no longer holding together.
He was struggling to chew properly because pieces would break away without warning. Meals became something to navigate rather than enjoy. On top of that, his smile was deteriorating. Teeth were heavily restored, uneven and discoloured. Gradually, his confidence began to slip too.
We carried out a thorough assessment, looking carefully at what could realistically be saved and what would continue to cause problems. Together, we decided on a more definitive solution: a fixed implant-supported bridge to replace his missing and failing teeth.

The key was careful planning. This wasn’t about giving him a generic “new smile”. It had to suit his face, his personality and his natural characteristics. The goal was to restore confidence while keeping him recognisably himself.
Just as importantly, we structured the treatment to minimise stress and disruption. He was never left without teeth at any stage. Throughout the process, he could continue his daily life without feeling self-conscious or compromised.
The result has been truly transformational. He can eat comfortably again. No more worrying about something breaking mid-meal. No more repeated temporary repairs. And when he smiles now, it’s with ease.

Cases like this remind us why we are so proud of what we do at Infinity Dental Clinic. Helping someone move from years of frustration to lasting stability and renewed confidence is incredibly rewarding.
If you or someone you know is struggling with failing dental work, we would be more than happy to talk through your options. Sometimes the right long-term solution can change far more than just your teeth.
