She attended a consultation last year expressing mixed emotions. Half delight for her son who is getting married this year, half worry and upset about her teeth and her ability to smile in the wedding photos.
This is a lady, who like many of our patients, has been very self-conscious of her teeth for a long while. As we often hear, she had been used to covering her mouth when laughing, speaking and smiling. This is always amplified even further when having photos taken! So, her son getting married gave her the motivation to finally do something about her teeth so she can smile with confidence.
In this case, we treated our patient with full arch dental implants. This means she now has a full set of fixed teeth which she can chew, talk and smile without worrying about anything coming lose or dropping out. As you can see, they look incredibly aesthetic and natural, to match her dream smile. They were aware when they first attended that this would be a significant process, but also that it would be more than worth it for such life-changing results. Seeing the smile on her face when we fitted the teeth was such a great reward and I cannot wait to see the wedding photographs!
