Guess Which One’s the Implant…

It’s a question we’ve been asking all week — not because the work stands out, but because it blends in so well.

We don’t have to always aim for a one-size-fits-all, ultra-white “perfect” smile. In many cases, our goal is to not make it obvious — especially when we’re placing a single implant into someone’s existing smile. The aim is to restore function, rebuild confidence, and create something so seamless it disappears into the rest of your teeth.
That’s where the skill of our trusted dental laboratories comes in. Each implant crown is bespoke — hand-painted and shaded using high-quality clinical photographs. Tooth colour, shape, alignment, texture — whatever your natural teeth are like, we’ll match it. Exactly.

This week we’ve wrapped up treatment for a few patients whose results even had us pausing to admire just how invisible the work looks.

One that stood out: a woman who came to us after putting things off for years due to anxiety. I remember her first visit clearly — shaking in the chair, unsure whether she could even go through with it. She found us online and, after a friendly and reassuring call with one of our TCOs, made the decision to travel from Manchester. It’s been a real pleasure getting to know her — not just as a patient, but now also as a friend of the practice.

Today, she came in for her review, smiling in the photo above — genuinely smiling. She told me this will be her first Christmas in 20 years where she’ll be able to properly chew her Christmas dinner. That’s huge. And even though there’s still some worry around dental visits, she walks through our door with a level of confidence we never saw in those early days.

That’s what this is all about.
