My intention was to write a blog on a recent dental implant case I did today however, I woke up this morning to find that the Australian Open has lost it’s top 2 seeds in as many days. Now for those of who do not follow the tennis, it is important to note that this is very rare. It is unusual to have the top 2 seeds drop out of a major tournament in the first week!
Striving for excellence, staying consistent
Both Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are in their prime and at the top of their sport. They have been for the last few years and what ranks them higher than everyone else is their ability to play consistently at a high level. They have worked immensely hard to get to where they are – at the top of the world tennis rankings.
The facts are that Novak Djokovic has been losing tennis matches recently that he would never have lost before, and now so has Andy Murray. Staying at the top of your profession is as hard, if not harder, than getting to the top in the first place. Whatever the reason for the blip in form of these two professionals, it is a reminder that nothing should be taken for granted and hard work is vital.
At Infinity Dental Clinic, we have achieved a lot to get to this place. We are performing dental procedures at the highest standards. What is up-to-date today is soon going to be old as it will be overtaken by another technological update. We know this is true for both our equipment and also for our treatment protocols.
For this reason we strongly encourage continuous professional development in our clinic: Our surgeons are continuously training and teaching on the latest surgical courses and our nurses are also attending courses to update their knowledge and skills in modern dentistry. As well as this, as a clinic we are always supporting investment in the latest equipment if it is able to improve our clinical work.
We enjoy updating our clinic since we have a team who really enjoys working in dentistry. There is pure delight on the faces of our surgeons and staff when a new update idea is being discussed, I feel privileged to be part of such a passionate team.
