Every week at Infinity Dental Clinic brings its own moments—some routine, some challenging, and now and then, one that really sticks with you. This week, I experienced one of those.
A patient who’s been with us for many years came in for her appointment. Over time, she’s undergone extensive dental implant treatment. At the beginning, she was incredibly nervous—so much so that she needed sedation for every procedure. But gradually, as we’ve worked together and built trust, things have changed. This time, she felt confident enough to have her treatment without sedation. That shift in itself is a huge milestone, and it speaks volumes about her courage and the trust she’s placed in our team.
But the moment that actually moved me was what happened at her review appointment this week.
She stayed behind to speak with me and became quite emotional. She told me how grateful she was for the care she’s received, not just from me, but from our entire team. She said that she didn’t feel confident enough with words to write a public review, but she didn’t want to leave without letting me know how much it all meant to her. She was tearing up as she spoke, and her sincerity hit me deeply. We had a lovely conversation about the help she had received from all at Infinity Dental Clinic.
It reminded me why I do this.
Dentistry isn’t just about fixing teeth—it’s about people. It’s about connection, trust, and being part of someone’s journey, especially when that journey involves overcoming fear and rebuilding confidence. We get to know the person behind the smile, and that’s one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
Moments like these make all the hard work worth it. They highlight how lucky I am—not just to do this work, but to do it with a team that genuinely cares and with patients who put their trust in us.
So to all of our patients: thank you. Thank you for your support, your kind words, and the bonds we’ve built together over the years. We’re lucky to have such kind and loyal patients, we don’t take your support for granted.
Thank you for reading.
