This week at our Harrogate clinic, we completed treatment for a lovely patient who had been wearing a denture to replace her missing UL1 and UL2 for many years. Like many others, she found the denture uncomfortable, awkward to eat with, and frustrating to live with day to day. It moved when she spoke, it affected her confidence, and she was simply tired of it.

We replaced both teeth with just one dental implant. It’s a clever and efficient solution. One implant placed at just the right angle can support two teeth in this area.

What made this case really special is how natural the result looks. The implant prosthesis was designed to match her existing teeth perfectly in shape, shade, and position. It blends so seamlessly that even up close, it’s hard to tell it’s not her own tooth. This kind of result takes careful planning, close collaboration with our lab, and attention to the smallest of details.

I’m proud to share a few photos of the final outcome, not just because of the technical work behind it, but because of what it meant to the patient. She’s delighted with the result and finally free from the nuisance of a denture. And we’re just as happy to have been part of her journey.
