After a thorough assessment, including a detailed CT scan, we built a clear and realistic plan together. The important thing in cases like this is balance. Not everything needs replacing, and where we can preserve natural teeth, we do.

Several of his teeth were still very much worth saving. With the right stabilisation, careful fillings, and restorative work, we were able to bring those back to health. That foundation is key.

However, the front teeth told a different story. These are the teeth that define a smile, and in his case, they were beyond predictable repair. So we planned a full restoration of the upper and lower front segments using dental implants and implant bridges.

From there, the process becomes very personal.

Using our smile simulation, we designed his new smile together. Not just something that looks good in isolation, but something that suits his face, his character, and how he wants to feel when he looks in the mirror. We discussed shape, proportion, and shade in detail. He was involved at every step.

And that’s important. This wasn’t my design, it was ours.

The final result is exactly what we aimed for. A smile that looks natural, balanced, and completely his own. Fixed, secure teeth that allow him to eat comfortably again. And just as importantly, the confidence that comes with it.

What’s been particularly rewarding is seeing the change beyond the clinical outcome. This is someone who once struggled with dental visits, and now returns every six months with a completely different mindset. Comfortable, engaged, and proud of his progress.

We’ve put a long-term maintenance plan in place to protect that investment and keep everything healthy moving forward.

Cases like this are why I do what I do. It’s not just about replacing teeth, it’s about restoring quality of life.
