Same day full arch dental implants

Posted on 25th February 2023

At Infinity Dental Clinic we have had the pleasure of treating many patients in the field of advanced implant dentistry. Dental Implants are used to replace missing or failing teeth using a fixed, permanent approach. Whether it is one tooth, multiple teeth or a full set of teeth, the treatment can be life changing for these patients.

Having a full arch of teeth replaced with dental implant supported teeth is probably the most life changing solution of them all. Often these patients had been suffering with a failing dentition or loose dentures for many years before they present to our clinic. There are multiple options available when considering replacing a full arch of teeth, even with dental implants there are many variations in options available. With every mouth being unique and each patient having different expectations, we offer all options to each patient to enable them to make an informed decision.

All in a day, full arch functional smile

Our team is able to provide every option for our patients, ranging from implant retained dentures to fully fixed and permanent dental implant supported bridges. With our sameday treatment approach, we provide our patients with temporary fixed teeth from the very first day of their treatment process. This means that our patients no longer need to worry about spending 6 months without any of their teeth, as they can have their failing teeth replaced with fixed implant supported teeth on the same day.

On the initial day of treatment, our patient need not wear any dentures, being able to walk out of the clinic with a fixed smile and a newfound confidence.

The pictures below illustrate what the fixed temporary teeth look like on the first day of treatment with dental implants to replace failing or missing teeth. In most cases, they appear almost as good as the final smile. For each of these pictures, thebefore image was taken at 9 am and theafter image was taken in the afternoon of the same day!

A final smile for an improved quality of life

After a period of approximately 6 months (on average), we will replace our patientstemporary teeth with the definitive smile. This smile will be sustained by the same dental implants we put in place six months prior, so there will be no further surgery necessary. By this point, the implants should have fully integrated into the jaw, providing a strong enough foundation to allow the patient to fully restore their normal dental function. This smile has been designed with precision, ensuring it is tailored to fit the patient‘s facial profile perfectly. The patient has also had the opportunity to provide input on what they would like the smile to look like. The pictures below demonstrate how the final smile looks like individual teeth, with precise gum contours to replicate natural, healthy teeth as closely as possible.

We are proud to provide advanced support to those patients who need help restoring their ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. Our implant team is expertly led by myself and is full of experienced, quality professionals. The technical work we provide is crafted by a team of laboratory artists, who engineer the most aesthetically pleasing and naturallooking prosthetics for our patients.
