Some patient stories stay with you forever, and this is certainly one of them.
When this lovely patient first came to see us, she was feeling devastated. Her smile, her confidence and her overall wellbeing had been deeply affected by the condition of her teeth.
She had previously attended another clinic, where she was told that all of her upper teeth would need to be removed due to advanced periodontal disease and significant bone loss. Her teeth were extremely loose, making everyday activities difficult and causing constant worry.
Whilst she understood the need for treatment, she was understandably distressed by the proposed solution. She had been advised that replacing her teeth would be a lengthy process and that she would need to wear a removable denture throughout much of the treatment.

For her, this simply wasn’t acceptable.
She wanted to continue working, socialising and living her life without the anxiety and inconvenience of removable teeth.
After researching the treatment approaches we offer, she came to see us for a consultation.
Together, we developed a solution that addressed her concerns and gave her the confidence she had been searching for. We were able to replace her failing teeth whilst ensuring that she never had to wear a removable denture at any stage of treatment.
From day one, she had fixed, secure teeth.
Although her treatment journey took around five months to complete, she was able to smile, speak and live normally throughout. Once healing was complete and everything had stabilised, her provisional fixed teeth were replaced with her final definitive restoration, creating a beautiful, natural-looking smile.

Not only did she regain her teeth, but she regained her confidence, her happiness and her quality of life. She continued with work and everyday activities completely unimpeded, all while maintaining a smile she could be proud of.
