As the new year begins, I’ve found myself reflecting on how fortunate we are to have such an exceptional team here at Infinity Dental. Just this week alone, we’ve welcomed new patients who have travelled from all corners of the UK. Some have journeyed for hours to reach us, simply because they were looking for a level of care that they couldn’t find closer to home.

The reason patients say they are willing to travel is simple. It’s our team, our collective experience, and the way we work together across both our Leeds and Harrogate clinics.

As one of the UK’s leading providers of Straumann dental implants, I see many patients who want to replace missing or failing teeth in the most natural and predictable way possible. For many, this is about more than teeth. It’s about getting their confidence, comfort, and quality of life back.

I’m particularly passionate about advanced implant care. This includes gum shaping to create a natural gum contour, FP1 full-arch implant restorations that avoid artificial-looking pink gum tissue, and same-day teeth supported by dental implants. This is highly specialised work, and patients who do their research often decide that experience matters more than convenience. That’s why they choose to travel to Leeds or Harrogate rather than settle for what’s closest.

We also see many nervous patients who come to us after reading reviews and hearing about the experiences of others. Dr Hannah Wilson has extensive experience treating nervous and phobic patients, including the use of IV sedation for those with severe dental anxiety. We often work closely together, with me placing the implants and Hannah providing sedation, allowing patients to achieve outcomes they never thought were possible.

Just today, Hannah completed the final stage of treatment for a patient who previously couldn’t even sit in the dental chair. She told us she is now “no longer even nervous about coming to the dentist.” Alongside sedation dentistry, Hannah has many years of experience in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign orthodontics.

We’re also very lucky to have Dr James David as part of our team. James holds a Master’s degree in endodontics and focuses on saving teeth wherever possible through advanced root canal treatment. Using a dental microscope and the latest technology, he gives every tooth the best chance of survival. Many patients arrive with fears based on horror stories they’ve heard, but often even end up falling asleep in the chair during treatment with James.

Dr Vinay Mistry brings many years of oral surgery experience, alongside a strong interest in dental implant dentistry. He enjoys the challenges of complex extractions, impacted wisdom teeth, implant placement and restoration, all while continuing to provide high-quality general dentistry.

Continuing education is something we all value highly at Infinity. Dr Roma McNeil is currently completing advanced postgraduate training in orthodontics, allowing her to treat both adults and children with fixed braces and Invisalign. This beautifully complements her passion for cosmetic dentistry, including composite bonding and veneers, helping her design natural-looking results that work in harmony with tooth straightening. Many patients love seeing Roma for her calm and gentle manner. She’s particularly experienced in caring for children and nervous patients, helping them feel relaxed and confident throughout their treatment.

As we continue to grow, Dr Caitlin Beech has joined the team with a strong focus on compassionate, patient-centred care. Her approach is all about building trust and long-term relationships, and she has fitted into the team seamlessly. We’re excited to see those relationships continue to grow over time.

We’re also very excited to start 2026 with the newest member of our team, Dr Aimee Bowen. Aimee shares the caring and compassionate values that are so important to us at Infinity. She has a real passion for general dentistry and is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. Aimee is committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with modern techniques, and there are many exciting things ahead.

And it certainly doesn’t stop with our dentists. We are fully supported by our incredible dental therapist team lead by the passionate Melanie Joyce, our own on-site laboratory Dentogenics and we truly couldn’t function without our dental nurses, treatment coordinators, and reception team.

We’re very lucky to work so well together, all sharing the same ethos and values. I’m genuinely excited about what 2026 has to offer. Whoever you come to see at Infinity Dental Clinic, you can be confident you’ll be looked after with the same care, kindness, and attention.
