Christmas – the closing chapter of a great year

At Infinity Dental Clinic, we have had a brilliant year. After taking over the practice in June, we have achieved so much in bringing the latest dental technology to our practice in Leeds. I have recapped our amazing 7 months in this blog.

The first month – time for big changes

When I arrived at the practice in June, I knew we had to introduce the upgrades immediately in order to work to the standards we wanted. This meant closing the clinic down for a few weeks for the major building work and machinery installation to take place. This heavy investment was well worth it, as a result we were able to work to our high standards and continue to build on these from the beginning.

Team development and striving for clinical excellence

I was fortunate to inherit very skilled and experienced staff from the previous practice. The existing staff were all eager to further themselves professionally and with this passion we were able to send staff on relevant educational courses to increase their skill set.

We continued to develop our team by adding skilled personnel to compliment our existing team. This was crucial to be able to provide a complete and efficient service for our patients. Our aim is to provide all aspects of dental care to the highest level, this can only be achieved by having the right professionals in the team to provide that care.

The biggest compliment to our team is that after providing specialist treatments (including dental implants, sedation, orthodontics and facial aesthetics), the reviews from our patients is great and so are the results. It makes me very proud to see our clinic and team performing at the highest level every day.

Teaching, mentoring and training

We feel very privileged to be asked to train future implant surgeons at our clinic. I am very proud of this as it is another indication that our team and our standards of care are of the highest level. I am very passionate about dentistry and the ability to teach other professionals enables me to share my passion with like-minded people. This makes my job even more satisfying – it is like a hobby for me, I love dentistry!

A great end to a great year

Christmas is a good time to have a few days off work and reflect on the year and also to plan for the year ahead. We have received some lovely messages from friends, family, patients and fellow professionals. I won’t bore you with all of the messages here, however, I would like to thank everyone for their support for the passionate work we all do here at Infinity Dental Clinic. One of the gifts we received over Christmas was this lovely hand made framed picture which I thought was too good not to share! Thank you Aimee and Jenny Kenton.

We have an amazing team who have all worked together to achieve something special. The year ahead will be filled with even more development and passion – the strive for excellence will always continue.
