What is Included in Denplan Cover?
There are a range of plans available to you and our experienced Treatment Coordinators will be able to advise you with the most suitable plan for you. As a minimum, each plan will include your recommended two dental examinations and two visits with our dental hygienist to ensure you maintain your dental health. It is always recommended to attend the Dentist on a regular basis to keep your teeth and gums healthy and to help diagnose any problems before they become more serious. There are many other additional benefits discussed below.
Denplan Dental Examinations
Your Dentist will complete a comprehensive dental health examination. This will include assessing your jaw joints, muscles and salivary glands for any irregularities. A full examination of your mouth will be carried out, which includes oral cancer screening. An assessment of your teeth and gums will then be completed, evaluating your overall risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
Denplan Hygiene Visits
Regular scaling of hard to reach areas by the Hygienist will significantly reduce the progression of gum disease. The Hygienist will also be able to remove any unwanted stains, polishing each tooth to leave them feeling fresh and clean.
The aim of regular hygiene therapy is to keep your gums and teeth healthy. A dental Hygienist is specially trained in cleaning and scaling the teeth. As such they are a vital member of the dental team.
Dental Implant upgrade cover
We know many of our patients chose fixed dental implant treatment over wearing removable dentures. Therefore, for added peace of mind, many of our patients chose Denplan Implant Upgrade Cover. This additional cover provides payment towards dental implants in the event of a dental injury resulting in tooth loss.
