Composite Bonding
Where minimally invasive smile makeovers are planned to enhance your smile, it is often possible to use Composite Bonding. Composite Bonding allows your Cosmetic Dentist to improve the shape, colour, size and alignment of teeth. A digital smile design can be used to create your perfect smile. This model can then be used to manufacture a stent allowing us to recreate your ideal smile.
These restorations require a high level of skill to ensure that they produce a long lasting and aesthetic smile. Our Cosmetic Dentists are able to make these restorations look beautiful and aesthetic, yet natural.
What is Composite Bonding?
Composite tooth-coloured filling material can be bonded directly to the tooth to improve the size, shape and appearance. Sometimes these are referred to as Composite Veneers. Composite can be used to repair fractures, close gaps, increase the length/ size of worn teeth or improve discolouration. This minimally invasive procedure can usually be completed in one visit and often requires little or no tooth removal.
Composite Bonding FAQs:
How is Composite Bonding different from Porcelain Veneers?
Composite Bonding is carried out by directly applying the composite resin to the tooth. Our Cosmetic Dentists will artistically recreate the ideal natural dental anatomy to achieve the perfect smile. This is usually completed in one appointment and often does not require the removal of any tooth structure.
Porcelain Veneers are manufactured by our experienced dental technicians who create ultra-thin, aesthetic ceramic veneers that are cemented on to the surface of the teeth.
