A smile that is straight with no missing teeth…

Do you wish to correct overlapping or spaced teeth AND replace missing or failing teeth?

Many patients attend our Clinic feeling like there is no hope left with their teeth – do not fear, you are in safe, experienced hands. At Infinity Dental Clinic we see lots of complex cases that just need a proper plan and a multidisciplinary approach. In cases of misalignment and failing teeth, this frequently involves a combination of care including stabilisation to get the teeth healthy, then Invisalign orthodontics to straighten the teeth alongside dental implants to replace any missing or failing teeth. Patients are then amazed at how we can utilise this plan to often save a lot more of their teeth than they thought, whilst still achieving their dream smile!

Improved Technology

Here at Infinity Dental Clinic, we have vast experience combining the digital planning involved with Invisalign with our 3D CBCT scans, meaning we can plan the Invisalign and implant treatment from the outset, with precise and predictable outcomes. We use our digital Trios scanner to create a 3D simulation of the predicted outcome of your smile. Both Invisalign and Dental Implant treatment have progressed monumentally in recent years increasingly becoming the treatments of choice.

Combining Invisalign Orthodontics and Dental Implants

We use the Invisalign Clincheck software to design the result we would like achieve and input which teeth we are aiming to replace with dental implants, so that both treatments can run alongside each other, shortening treatment times and optimising outcomes.

Having missing teeth can often cause the other remaining teeth to drift and tilt out of place. Therefore, it is often preferable to both straighten the teeth and then replace any missing teeth to help the stability of the arch.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is the world leader in adult orthodontics thanks to its discreet, removable aligners used to straighten teeth in patients of all ages. It is a very popular alternative to the traditional metal brackets and wires.

Having missing teeth can often cause the other remaining teeth to drift and tilt out of place. Therefore, it is often preferable to both straighten the teeth and then replace any missing teeth to help the stability of the arch.

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is the nearest tooth replacement solution to your own natural teeth. They are fixed in place, meaning you can eat, speak and laugh with confidence.

Can Invisalign and Dental Implants be completed at the same time?

Yes, the treatment can be planned to place the dental implants alongside straightening the teeth and would usually be staged as follows:

  • Planning the treatment with the 3D Clincheck simulation
  • Starting your Invisalign
  • Placing the dental implant once the space has been created
  • Finishing straightening the teeth until we have the perfect result
  • Fitting the tooth on to the dental implant to finish the perfect, straight white smile
  • Providing night time retainers to make sure you keep your new perfect smile

Will I have a missing tooth throughout the Invisalign?

Invisalign have cleverly designed false teeth in their aligners, meaning you don’t look like you are missing any teeth throughout the straightening process.
