Today was no exception to this! However, a patient of mine asked me some interesting questions about the Invisalign journey, and I thought what better than to write a blog post that would help patient’s understand the process in more detail.

TEETH STRAIGHTENING – A CLEAR PATH TO CONFIDENCE

Invisalign is currently the world leader in adult orthodontics, and when you see the aligners in action, it is obvious why. Invisalign offers virtually invisible, comfortable and effective teeth correction and straightening. I am currently part way through my own Invisalign treatment with Dr David, and only a few keen eyed family members have noticed me wearing my aligners.

Many patients we see feel their teeth are too “bad” for Invisalign to be an option, and are worried that it simply wont work, however with our Platinum Elite status and experience, we will develop your personalised plan, and with regular aligner changes, your teeth will gently shift into alignment, giving you a stunning smile in less time than you might expect.

INVISALIGN: THE CONSULTATION AND CLINCHECK

The first stage in the Invisalign journey is the consultation, during which you will get to know either myself, Dr David or Dr Wilson, and we will provide you with a thorough assessment, photographs, 3D scans and x-ray images to provide you with the full range of options. After you are happy that Invisalign is the right solution for you, we will take all of this detailed information away and can then spend time carefully planning your final results.

The next appointment is the ClinCheck appointment, and this is a really special appointment where the magic of Invisalign technology really comes to life. You will see in 3D how your smile will be transformed, and what the final results will look like. We can spend time working together to make any tweaks or adjustments, then we can start your Invisalign Treatment.

TRACKING YOUR SMILE

After you have your first aligners fitted, you will then return to see us every couple of months so we can see how things are going and ensure that we are achieving amazing results. We also love to use the “My Invisalign” app where, through weekly photos and check ins, you can be assured that your treatment is progressing exactly how it should be from the comfort of your own home.
