Team work is what makes our team special

It is Saturday morning and I sit here in our dental practice with my dental nurse, Lauren.

Now we don’t normally open for surgery on a weekend and the reason for this is to help our team manage their working week whilst staying refreshed. They give so much passion and dedication to the work they do and to our patients during the working week. We all care for our patients as if they are a member of our own families, every one of our team cares about our patients. Our team will always put our patient’s interests first and this is one of the main reasons why we are able to transform so many lives through the dental care we provide.

The reason I’m at work with Lauren today is because one of our patients needed to be seen to be able to complete his ongoing implant treatment. He couldn’t get out of work during the week and we didn’t want to delay his treatment journey due to this. So we offered to see him this morning so that he could continue with his treatment without delays.

It was a small act of kindness, but one that will mean so much to our patient. Lauren was my nurse today however, any one of our team would have been at the clinic, eager and willing to help a patient in need.

It makes me proud to reflect on our team as I sit here on a Saturday morning.
